Breezy

When Mom's computer crashed, I lost all of the pictures and video from Breezy this last year. I think I got most of it from Tammy, Lu, and Shayla, so if any of you guys still have any of it you should let me know so I can collect it again and make a new video. :)

Looks good Mac. I check this once in awhile but quite often, I'm the last post so it doesn't pay to keep posting stuff if nobody sees it but me. I already know this stuff. Not much going on anyway. I think it's spose to be shitty this weekend so I think I will stay home and try to finish reading for this last test I have to do. Alan sent me a message about the horse races on Saturday. Hi everyone. Hello?.........Hello? I know, I am guilty of it too. Plus we have seen each other a few times in the past couple weeks soooo..... Anyway, I am going to go to my first landscaping job tomorrow to run ideas past her and get it mapped out. Then will get to the labor I suppose on Tuesday. It's a beautiful transformation from a sparse lawn to a georgeous park-like blooming gardens, benches, paths, etc... I am going to show her the plans tomorrow and I think she will love them. I will get a rough sketch drawn up today, then will actually do the measuring and graph it out the next day. I will get pictures to post later.

I have a second job lined up that hopefully I will be able to start as soon as this one is finished. I will also try to remember the before and after pics.

finally!!!

I finally got the transcription shit posted and finally completed. I was done in Jan but for some reason the grades weren't getting posted and had to resend. But it is finally completed so I enrolled in Medical Office Assistant. I have 3 tests. It's a big book though over 1,000 pages. Gotta wait for the book in the mail, but I went on line to look at the study guide. I already know some of it from work so I'm guessing it shouldn't be too bad. Some of it will be tough, like blood counts and stuff but it looks interesting. I only have to pay $136 or something like that.

Bingo at the casino on Sunday for anyone who is interested. As if anyone reads this anymore. I posted a month ago and no one has posted since. Oh well. In case anyone reads this, early birds is 6:30, regular session is at 7:30, $30 buy in. Hope to see ya there. Yap at ya later.

Hello all, just figured I'd say hi. Again, I contacted the school about the missing assignment, and again they came back and said they haven't recieved an assignment, so I sent them on-line. I've sent it in twice now by mail, got it back corrected, sent in the corrected one and they still say they haven't recieved it. Well, tonight I got an email back saying she printed it out and sent it to the person to be graded and wished me luck. Well, being as to how I corrected it off the one they sent me back, I'm guessing I should do alright on it. We'll see how this goes. I wanted to be done with Medical Assistant before I went to Bristol but that aint happening cuz I leave tomoro. Oh well. I should probably go to bed as Glen thinks we should leave by 9. Hi everyone. Just letting you know that Jeannie had her baby. Alaina Rose was born Thursday night. She weighs 7 lbs. and 15oz. and is, of course, gorgeous! Mom and Baby are both fine and went home today. (Alaina will share her birthday with Austin, who is 16!).

I Passed!

Howdeee! Congrats Tammy! I can't wait til it's my turn. I have the equivalent of one semester done out of a two year degree, (Eeyore says, "whoopee").

Due to a dumb mistake on my part I came close to failing English Comp. This is sad cuz I like English! I have 60 points of 1,000 to come in yet, but what I was really waiting for was the grade on a 150 pt essay. My TA was having tech difficulties and didn't get her feedback to me on my draft in time, so I edited it to the best of my abilities and I got 129, which is 86%. YEA!!! Overall I should end up with a C in this class, which would still give me about a B+ so far.

Now I'm in CompII and it's a lot more work, but it's also challenging and exciting. I have a new essay due every week. This week I have to pick a controversial topic and stand up for "my" side. Other than having issues with comma use I expect a decent grade in this class.

Mom has had her ears checked out twice and on Tues. she is having an MRI done on her left ear. There is a possiblity of a tumor (non-cancerous), so they want to check it out. I'm working Tues. and have my 8-3 Dr.-lab-x-ray-and CT scan day Wed. I am not expecting any surprises.

I just might treat myself to another Valentine's Day dinner special at Coborn's. An 8 oz.steak, 4 oz. lobster, 18 oz potato, not kidding they're huge, a nice salad, and a roll for $9.99. Kathy and I went last nite and Mom might go tonite. If Kathy comes back she and Mom will do the all-u-can-eat salad bar for $6. That's with the wing bar.

I'm done!!

I had to redo one transcription, which means I will get a 70 for that assignment. That sucks, but I am sitting on 87 overall. That shouldn't change much if any. So now I just have to wait to get my diploma from the school and register for the other class. Hopefully this will all happen soon. It would be nice to have this all done before Bristol. Which is the end of March. Hopefully, the one class I have to take won't take long. I am so looking forward to getting a day job. I am still looking for online work to no avail. Everyone wants experience. I'll keep looking though. Not much new around here. Yap at ya all later.

Hi Everyone. Wow, Tammy. 90% is great! I had an A going, but with Comp 1, I screwed up sending in an assignment and even tho I originally sent it in early, it didn't reach the TA in time so I got a zero. Luckily (?) it was only for 15% of the total class points. I had already lost about 7% and now I'm waiting on 3 more grades. Meanwhile, Comp 2 started today. I thought maybe I would not be taking it if I didn't pass the first one, but I'll be ok. I'll end up with a low C. I'm not thrilled with that of course, but it's quite a bit better than failing! My grades should be in by the end of the week and I'm hopeful I did ok. Onward and upward. I've got 2 years of this so I don't expect a 4.0.

Mom is going to the specialist on Wed for more hearing tests. From what it sounds like it's the sp. first then the audiologist. After todays exam it looks like total loss in the left ear. I'll keep you posted.

So far I like my new car. It sure drives nice. It feels like a nice heavy car and it handles well. I am just starting on the owners manual, it weighs 4503 lbs.! That ought to keep it on the ground.

My research was graded and I got 90%. That's why I don't know why I drag my feet so bad to get these done cause I do ok with them grade wise. Oh well. Just thought I would let ya know. Still have the two assignments not graded. One should be ready pretty soon I would think. It dont matter though cause everything is sent in so I'm done. Unless I have to redo one, which I'm kinda thinking I will, there's one with the accent so strong I couldn't understand half of what he was saying. I sent a note on what I would do in a real job setting but dont know if they will accept that or if they will make me redo it. I'm thinking 6/26 for Katie/Cody grad party. I haven't heard back yet. I should probably call him back to get the powwow grounds reserved. Yap at ya all later.

Hello all, just figured I would come on to let ya all know, I finally did my research assignment. I didn't get my last group of assignments back yet but I'm sick of waiting, so I checked and printed off the last 10 reports and will send it in on Monday. I figured as long as I was at it, I was gonna get the stupid research done too. Nikki sent me some good information (in fact, I pretty much just typed what she sent) so I figured there really was no reason not to do it. So, I am done with this. Now I just have to wait to get it all graded and back so I can do Medical Assistant. I have been checking on craigslist and actually, there are quite a few jobs. Office ones anyway. I think I would rather do the MA stuff, but I will take what I can get. Kathy didn't get back to me so I stayed home and finished homework. It took me all day to get that research done. I'm pretty sure I didn't do the reference page like they are gonna want it but the information is the most part and I think I did a good job on that. I check this once in a while but lu's new years post has been the last one. I don't really have much to say either but I will update. I am getting closer and closer to being done with transcription class. I have one waiting to be graded, I have the last one completed but waiting to send it in. I still haven't done my research assignment. Have it started just not done. I sent Nikki the things I need to cover in my 2 page report and she answered in a few days but I haven't got my part of it done yet. I have this weekend off and was thinking of giving you a call Kathy to see what you have planned. It sounds like you have speech maybe. I'll call ya and see if we can work something out. I should try to get that stupid assignment done but we all know that probably aint gonna happen. Maybe I'll work on it if I don't go to Brainerd. It wouldn't take much to get it done. I should just do it. Hey, did anyone hear of Work Pays on taxes? I did my taxes last week and it says I qualify for the Work Pays Credit. I never heard anything about it but I started over 3 times and it came up every time. I have no idea. Oh well, I'll take it I guess. It's $400 so I get 405 back from federal and 101 back from state. I hope it's right. I'm sure they won't send it if it's wrong. It would be nice though. I was planning on paying in this year cause I made 35,000 and the last time I made that much I had to pay in about $600. We'll see I guess. Nothing much new here. Still at the nursing home. I sent my resume to a job posting on craigslist and heard back but I didn't respond because I am gonna wait until after Bristol to change jobs. I have 8 days of vacation to use up and if I leave now, I won't have it to use for Bristol. So, I will seriously start looking when I get back. I still wanna take that Medical Assistant class too, but I'm just about done with this one so I'll start the next class when this one's done. I registered for it but heard back that I can only be enrolled in one program at a time. Hopefully this one will be done by the end of Feb and I'll register for the other one. Hopefully, it doesn't take as long as this one. They really drug this out. I could have been done at the end of the year if they didn't have it set up this way. I am spose to wait to get one assignment back before I send the next one in and it takes about 3 weeks to get it back. That sucks. Oh well. I only have one more to send in besides the one they already have. And the research of course. But I will get that done by the time I send my next one in. This got kinda lengthy for having nothing to say. We went to bingo, no one won. We haven't won for quite a while. Well, I think I'm gonna go read for awhile. Yap at ya all later. Lu said not many people are blogging anymore, so I thought I should check in. Mitch and Mac were both home last weekend. It was fun. Mac had the whole week off.
I have been busy with Speech. Only two weeks left for the Middle School season and then I judge some High School meets for the next couple months, usually on Saturdays. What esle is there to do in the winter? Tammy, what have you been up to? How is work? Are you ever gonna be in my neck of the woods? We should get together when you are available. I miss you. Do you work weekends?
