Hello everyone. Just thought I would give an update on the job search. I was hoping to get into the at-home transcription without having to go somewhere first, but it's not looking good. I spent alot of time looking yesterday without much luck. I did find one, but, you need to type 70 words a minute and it's on their time, not yours. They send stuff that needs to be immediately so that won't work. I am hoping for something I can do on my time and still keep my job. But it states in the beginning that this is not a part time position that you can do on your own scedule. Oh well. I got myself excited about this but it might not happen that way. There might be something out there, I just haven't found it yet. Other than that, it's pretty much the same ole stuff. I'm still working on all the reports I have to turn it to the school. And of course, I still have a research project to do. We all know how I love those. I hope everyone is doing fine and getting ready for winter. I hear it's spose to be colder than usual this year.Yippee! Breezy is coming right up. See ya all there. I went to Target yesterday and they have Christmas stuff out already. How sick is that? Anyway, I spose I should go. Yap at ya all later.

I'M BAAAACK!

Hi all. Vegas was fun. The weather was perfect for relaxing by (and in) the pool and short walks but a little warm for long ones. (Temps ranged from low 90's to 103 on the last day) However, the buses, trams and casinos had ac so all was well. It was such a nice break and we all had a great time. We saw the sights, and took in a show or two, drank a little, ate alot. Did some shopping, even a little buying, and of course spent some quality time on the slot machines. Walking at night was fantastic. The nights were cool and the lights were a show in themselves! One of my favorites was actually a free show. The "dancing waters" at the Bellagio. Hundreds of spigots in a pool orchastrated to dance to the music. One of the songs was All that Jazz from Chicago and another was from Elvis.
I even brought a couple dollars home with me, I think that makes me a winner, right? Seed money for next time. We're thinking maybe 3 years from now instead of 5. we'll see.
Hope everyone had a great summer! I Love you all, hope you know how special you are to me. See ya soon. Just me :) Lu

WELL, SUMMER'S WINDING DOWN AND MY VEGAS TRIP IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. I'M GOING WITH MY BUDDY (SINCE 7TH GRADE) SHERRIE, AND HER HUBBY RON. IT WAS VERY HOT (100's plus.)

I SAID FROM THE BEGINING I'D GIVE SANDERSON TIL THE END OF SUMMER TO CALL ME BACK; (HE PROMISED) BUT APARENTLY I DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT. I STILL HAVE THE CONV. CENTER AND ALTHOUGH IT'S A HIT AND MISS SCHEDULE IT'S BEEN A FULL TIME JOB ALOT OF WEEKS. HOWEVER, I'D LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING TRULY FT AND USE KELBER AS A BACK UP PART TIME JOB. ALSO STILL KICKIN AROUND THE "FURTHER EDUCATION" IDEA.

TAMMY, DO YOU HAVE ANY INFO ON LOGAN YET? AN ADDRESS, AND CAN WE SEND CARE PKGS. WHILE HE'S IN BASIC? WILL HE BE COMING HOME BEFORE HE GETS HIS ORDERS AFTER BASIC? LIKE, FOR CHRISTMAS, MAYBE?

HEY, KATH, DOES MITCH KNOW EXACTLY WHEN HE'S HEADING FOR MILWAUKEE? DOES HE NEED HELP MOVING? :) I HAVEN'T COLLECTED A COFFEE MUG FROM THERE YET. :)

WELL, IT'S TIME TO SIGN OFF FOR NOW. I'LL BE BACK! I LOVE YOU ALL, LOTS.
